About the Studio
We started Design Intend in Hosur in 2014 — not with a grand vision statement, but with a single question: what does this family actually need? That question has guided every project since. Whether it is a home in Hosur, a villa in Krishnagiri, or a commercial space in Bengaluru, the answer always begins with the people — not the blueprint.
Over the past ten years, we have designed homes, villas, and offices across Hosur and the wider Bengaluru–Tamil Nadu corridor. Every project starts the same way: we visit the site, understand the light, the airflow, the neighbourhood — and then we design something that could only exist in that one place. No two projects look the same. That is the point.

Ar. Chittrarasan
Chittrarasan graduated from Adhiyaman College of Engineering, Hosur in 2007. He spent his early years at Suresh Goel Associates in New Delhi, working on landmark institutional projects — IIT, IISc, BITS Pilani, and Jindal City. In 2011 he joined Gensler, Bengaluru as Associate Architect, leading interior environments for global clients including Chase Bank, Starbucks, and GMFI. In 2014 he came home to Hosur and founded Design Intend — with the conviction that world-class design belongs here too.

A complete design concept — massing models, spatial narratives, material palettes, and 3D visualisations that make the architecture real before a brick is laid.
Collaborative iteration until every detail is exactly right — not approximately right. Working drawings, specifications, and approvals handled in full.
Full site supervision, contractor coordination, quality assurance, and handover. We remain present and accountable until your space is exactly as designed.
